Patients may nominate a nurse, nurse team or care team member by sharing a special story demonstrating the skillful and compassionate care given to a patient. Nominations can be submitted by completing the below form or by printing and filling out this
nomination form.
DAISY Award: Honoring Nurses and Nurse Leaders for Extraordinary Service
The DAISY Award is a national recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. Awards are determined and given locally, and are driven by patient, family and staff nominations. There will be three awards given annually between our two hospitals.
BEE Award: Honoring Support Staff Outside of Nursing, for Extraordinary Service
The BEE (Being Extraordinary Everyday) Award was established to recognize the colleagues who go beyond expectations outside of nursing. Just as a daisy cannot survive without the bee, our nurses rely on support of other staff to offer extraordinary care. This award is given to members of the care team outside of nursing.
