Libertas Treatment Centers Welcome You
Freedom, the first step in
recovering from dependency on alcohol or drugs, is a big step toward
discovering or rediscovering life. "Libertas"
is Italian for freedom.
Recovering from chemical dependency involves hard work, commitment
and a caring spirit. St. Joseph's
Hospital is proud to offer the L.
E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment
Center (Chippewa Falls)
and Libertas
Treatment Center (Green Bay),
two of the Midwest’s most
respected treatment programs for freedom from chemical dependency.
Our approach to chemical dependency treatment is of sincere concern
and loving support. The foundation of our program dates back to the
1940’s when the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order of St.
Francis opened one of the nation’s first chemical dependency
treatment units at St. Joseph’s
Hospital, Chippewa
Falls. That
program has guided many chemically dependent individuals and families
to freedom. The hospital is an affiliate of the Hospital Sister Health
System, headquartered in Springfield,
Illinois.
Both L. E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment
Center and Libertas Treatment Center
are accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations and certified by the State of Wisconsin for
treatment of alcoholism and drug abuse.
