Treatment Center now offering residential treatment
Date: October 16th, 2009
The L.E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment Center is now offering a 28-day residential chemical dependency treatment program to clients in need. Previously, patients were either referred elsewhere for this service or seen on an outpatient basis after completing their inpatient treatment.
The new residential program uses a 12-step facilitation model and is designed to provide treatment in a safe living environment, helping clients feel more comfortable with sobriety, gain insight into their illness and learn early recovery, relapse prevention and emotional coping skills.
Over the course of the 28 days, staff will work with clients to re-introduce them to the community and help them complete recreational activities such as bowling and shopping without using.
