Treatment Center passes state survey, re-accredited
Date: February 4th, 2010
The L.E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment Center of St. Joseph's Hospital has been awarded a two-year term of accreditation following a comprehensive survey by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Quality Assurance.
Surveyors reviewed files, quality measures and other data from six of the treatment center's programs: medically managed inpatient detox, medically managed inpatient treatment, medically monitored treatment, outpatient treatment, transitional residential and mental health outpatient clinic.
Tom Fuchs, director of the L.E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment Center, said the re-accreditation reflects the facility's commitment to quality care and its compliance with all state standards.
"We provide excellent treatment services and truly the broadest array of services to the people who come here," Fuchs said. "We do good work, and we're proud of what we do."
The L.E. Phillips-Libertas Treatment Center offers a wide range of treatment care services for adults and adolescents. Services include medical detoxification, alcohol and other drug abuse and mental health treatment, with a multi-disciplinary team of trained physicians, nurses, certified clinicians, counselors, and therapists caring for clients.
