Since 2000, the Libertas Resource Development Committee has worked to involve the greater Green Bay area in supporting the unique and compassionate treatment services the Center offers adolescents. Comprised of community leaders committed to Libertas’ mission, the committee has worked with the Development Office to seek the philanthropic support of individuals, businesses, and foundations.

Significant shortfalls in reimbursement by government, HMOs, and insurance plans make the philanthropic partnership of friends of Libertas essential. Costs of treatment are high . . . but the continually escalating costs of denying or ignoring the problems caused by alcohol and other drug abuse and addiction among adolescents – often including the costs of involvement in the judicial system and possibly incarceration for acts done while under the influence of addictive substances – are far greater.

You are invited to use the online pledge form to support Libertas as it offers compassion for kids and support for parents in aggressively treating addictions and offering young people hope for sober, fulfilling, and productive lives.

Your gift may be earmarked for the Libertas Annual Fund to support the ongoing work of the Center. Or you may designate your gift for the Libertas Endowment Fund to provide permanent support for the mission of Libertas year after year.

Gifts may be sent to Development Office, Libertas, 1701 Dousman Street, Green Bay, WI 54303-3282. Gifts to Libertas may be made in memory of or in tribute to special persons. Checks should be payable to Libertas. Gifts to Libertas are deductible as charitable contributions as provided by law. The federal identification number of the sponsoring Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, Inc. is 37 11856524.

To request information about lifetime or estate gifts, please call Patricia Mancuso, Development Coordinator, at 920/498-8600. By e-mail, contact pmancus@sjcf.hshs.org. You may do so in confidence and without obligation.
