Eating disorders, despite what most people think, are not about vanity or weight. They're psychological illnesses in which food is used as a tool to cope emotionally and gain control over one's life and circumstances.
L.E. Phillips-Libertas understands that the conditions of an eating disorder, whether it's anorexia nervosa, bulimia or binge eating, are extremely complex. Recovery is literally a matter of life and death.
With patience, hope, sensitivity and guidance, L.E. Phillips-Libertas offers those with eating disorders the strength, insight and empowerment to be psychologically and emotionally well.
Healing is possible.
