No One Says I Want to Become an Addict

The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

is designed specifically for adolescents and their needs. Adolescents are placed in the program following an assessment by a professional alcohol/drug counselor.

The assessment includes:

    Adolescent Interview
    Parent Interview
    Drug Screening

The Adolescent IOP includes:

    Individual and family sessions
    Early recovery skills group
    Relapse prevention
    Parent education
    Random drug testing
    Optional housing

The Adolescent IOP utilizes the Matrix Model - an evidence-based treatment model specifically developed for adolescents and young adults. It is recognized for:

    Exemplary treatment approach
    Excellent early-stage outcomes
    Providing age-appropriate content
    Excellent family treatment components

The program runs approximately 16 weeks, but may vary based on individual needs. Treatment is offered 3 days a week with time devoted to family education. It is vital that both the adolescent and his or her family be committed to participating consistently. Relapse prevention services follow the completion of treatment.
